Arkansas Community Bankers

In 1980 a small group of like-minded independent bankers banded together to charter the Arkansas Independent Bankers Association. These pioneers in Arkansas banking represented some 65 independent community banks throughout our State. In 1993 the name of the association was officially changed to the Arkansas Community Bankers Association. May 1995 the membership voted to allow Arkansas based thrifts to be members of ACB. California Bankers Association

Established 123 years ago, the California Bankers Association (CBA) is one of the largest state banking trade associations in the country. CBA leads the way in developing relevant educational and legislative solutions to some of California’s more pressing financial and banking issues, including financial empowerment, identity theft, financial privacy, and financial elder abuse. CBA’s membership includes the majority of California’s commercial, industrial and community banks and savings associations.

Community Bank Services (North Carolina Bankers Association)

Community Bank Services (CBS) is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the North Carolina Bankers Association. In existence solely to offer products and services to member financial-related institutions, CBS is proud of the endorsed partners who work in tandem with the CBS team. Community Bankers Association of Georgia

The Community Bankers Association of Georgia is a non-profit organization serving community banks throughout Georgia for over 40 years to enhance their profitability and growth. The CBA was founded in 1969 by a group of Georgia community bankers to protect the political interests of locally owned community banks. Representing over 220 community banks and 200 associate member companies, CBA offers services in four distinct areas which include political affairs, education, products & services and networking. Community Bankers Association of Ohio

Community Bankers Association of Ohio (CBAO) is organized to establish and maintain an informed network of independent community banks in the state of Ohio that have the influence and commitment to effectively serve, protect and promote the interests of its members. CBAO exclusively represents community bank and thrift institutions in Ohio who serve their communities through 1,229 locations and over 14,600 employees, with more than $59 billion in assets, $46 billion in insured deposits, and $39 billion in net loans. Community Bankers Association of Oklahoma

CBAO allows bankers to collectively accomplish many goals that would normally be unattainable with only the efforts of an individual banker or individual bank. CBAO fights proactively for legislation that would level the playing field for community banking, while at the same time maintaining a strong defense against costly and burdensome regulations. CBAO also offers quality education in the form of seminars, webinars, conferences and the annual convention. CBAO is Oklahoma's only banking association with membership limited to Oklahoma community banks. Out of state mega-banks are not eligible for membership. www.cba-ok.org

Community Bankers of Washington

Community Bankers of Washington (CBW) is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the value of Washington State's community-based financial institutions for the benefit of consumers. The CBW gives community banks a powerful voice at the State Legislature and provides association members with professional education opportunities and access to products and services at favorable pricing. In the rapidly changing financial services marketplace, the CBW is a strong and dynamic trade association dedicated to providing its members with a competitive edge. Community Bankers of Wisconsin

CBW was founded in 1981 and is dedicated exclusively to enhancing the franchise value of community banks through proactive advocacy, specialized educational training, and profit-enhancing services. CBW represents a majority of Wisconsin community banks, which are located in small towns, rural areas, suburbs and cities, and collectively employ over 18,000 individuals with assets exceeding $73 billion. Florida Bankers Association

The Florida Bankers Association serves as the primary resource through which Florida financial service providers work in unity to influence the state and federal legal regulatory environments in which they serve their customers. Established in 1888, the FBA is one of Florida's oldest trade associations and has a membership of 300 financial institutions ranging in size from small community banks, thrifts, and trust companies to medium sized banks operating in several parts of the state, to large regional financial institutions that are headquartered in Florida or outside the state. www.floridabankers.com

Georgia Bankers Association

Founded in 1892, the Georgia Bankers Association promotes the general welfare and usefulness of banking and the preservation of a sound banking system. Illinois Bankers Association

The Illinois Bankers Association is a full-service trade association dedicated to creating a positive business climate that benefits the entire banking industry and the communities they serve. Founded in 1891, the IBA brings together state and national banks, savings banks, and savings and loan associations of all sizes in Illinois. Collectively, the IBA represents nearly 90 percent of the assets of the Illinois banking industry, which employs more than 100,000 men and women in more than 5,000 offices across the state.

Independent Bankers Association of Texas

Formed in 1974, the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) represents Texas community banks. The Austin-based group is the largest state community banking organization in the nation, with membership comprised of more than 2,000 banks and branches in 700 Texas communities. Providing safe and responsible financial services to all Texans, IBAT member bank assets range in size from $10 million to $20 billion with combined assets statewide of nearly $165 billion. Indiana Bankers Association

The Indiana Bankers Association (IBA) was founded in 1897 and incorporated on July 10, 1972. It merged with the Indiana League of Savings Institutions in 2000 and with the Community Bankers Association of Indiana in 2006 to become the largest and most comprehensive association of financial institutions in Indiana.

The role of the IBA is to anticipate the changes in the economic and banking environment in order to give its membership the opportunity to compete effectively. The IBA works to create and maintain the conditions which ensure the profitable provision of services. www.indianabankers.org

Iowa Bankers Association

Kentucky Bankers Association

Maine Bankers Association

Michigan Bankers Association

The Michigan Bankers Association is an association of Michigan financial institutions with over 2,300 branches located throughout the state with combined assets of over $200 billion. New Jersey Bankers Association

For more than 108 years the New Jersey Bankers Association, or NJBankers, has been an advocate for the New Jersey banking industry. Today our membership consists of 119 banking institutions of all banking charters that are headquartered or have branches in New Jersey. Our primary mission is to represent our membership's interests before state and federal government and regulatory authorities. Ohio Bankers League

The OBL is the trade association for the Ohio banking industry – and is Ohio's only organization focused on meeting the needs of all banks and thrifts in the Buckeye State. For more than 100 years, the OBL has been the voice of the Ohio banking industry fostering a cooperation that has made it one of the strongest and most reputable financial trade associations in the country. Oklahoma Bankers Association

Oklahoma Bankers Association began in 1897 prior to Oklahoma's statehood with the mission of helping banks cope with their common concerns and needs. The OBA represents approximately 230 banks across Oklahoma and serves as the primary advocate for the banking industry. Pennsylvania Bankers Association

The Pennsylvania Bankers Association, located in Harrisburg, is the state's leading banking trade association representing an expansive and diverse membership. The Association offers extensive continuing education programs, government relations representation on behalf of the industry, and provides numerous products and services for banks and their employees.

South Carolina Bankers Association

The South Carolina Bankers Association has proudly served S.C.'s banking industry since 1900. The SCBA is the professional trade association organized to effectively represent the common interests and welfare of South Carolina's banking industry and to promote the professional development of members and individual practitioners. Our mission is to serve as the key advocate in bettering communities served by our members by providing leadership through legislative, regulatory, educational and value-added services. The SCBA is governed by a board of directors and employs a full-time staff of professionals. A broad array of associate members complete our roster with third-party merchant offerings.

Tennessee Bankers Association

The Tennessee Bankers Association is a not-for-profit organization representing Tennessee's commercial banks and thrifts. Virginia Association of Community Banks

The Virginia Association of Community Banks is an organization whose members are the locally owned and operated banks in the Commonwealth of Virginia. All members are dedicated to the principles of community banking. Virginia Bankers Association

Western Independent Bankers

WIB has almost 240 community and independent banks as members in the Western states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and the U.S. Territories. More than 195 firms serving community banks are Associate Members of WIB.
